چکیده
In today’s industries, a diversity of processes give rise to increasing numbers non-biodegradable compounds that need be degraded totally or transformed other less toxic and/or more biodegradable compounds, before their discharge into the environment. One such compound chosen for this study is Orange II, representative azo-dye widely used and easy monitor in its degradation. The photo-Fenton process was under heterogeneous homogeneous conditions several different variables. At end research, comparative carried out between two types catalysis. It observed better results primary degradation mineralization were provided by takes place effectively catalysis conditions. much faster than (99.9 24% after 90 min, respectively, especially when only 2 ppm iron solution required). Mineralization through total organic carbon, variable C/Co as function time during II degradation, data obtained final oxidation capacity are agreement with experimental percentages mineralization. A linear fit using Chan–Chu kinetic model For catalysis, 56% reached whereas predicts 63%. Regarding according model, 100% because (1/σ) value greater 1 since calculates it on infinite time.

متن کاملThe kinetic study of the AZo Dye Decolourisation by advanced oxidation process
In the present study, advanced oxidation treatment, UV/ was applied to decolourisation of Acid Orange 8 (AO8). The UV radiation was carried out with a 15 W low-pressure mercury lamp. Kinetic model for the decolourisation of the dye was developed based on experimental results and known chemical and photochemical reactions. The observed kinetic reaction constant was determined and correlated as a...
